Minister Maląg’s greetings on Father’s Day
23.06.2020
Dear Fathers,
The father’s role may not be mentioned in public space as extensively and frequently as maternity is, but I have no doubt that the father is as important as the mother to every child. The father is the first model of a man both for the son and the daughter and is a true hero and a safe haven in his children’s eyes. Mom and Dad are different from each other; one parent may sometimes be stricter and the other one more inclined to jokes and fun, but both love their children equally strongly and immeasurably.
On the occasion of today’s exceptional holiday – Father’s Day – I wish all Dads plenty of joy in spending time with their children, regardless of how old they are. A man becomes a dad for life. You are the first to teach your children to learn the world and you are their support – and they, on the other hand, teach you patience, tenderness and fully unselfish love. Dear Fathers, I wish you much serenity and all the best!
With warmest regards,
Marlena Maląg
Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy
