More than PLN 38.1 million for the Care 75+ programme
31.03.2022
More than PLN 38.1 million will go to municipalities all over Poland as part of this year’s edition of the Care 75+ programme, thanks to which the availability of care services, including specialist ones, is growing.
Municipalities that join the programme will receive financial support up to 50% of the expected total costs of implementing the task. Care services can be provided by self-governments from 1 January to the end of this year – says Deputy Minister of Family and Social Policy, Stanisław Szwed.
Care 75+ Programme
The programme aims at developing and improving access to care services, including social care services aimed at single people as well as those with families who turned 75 years old and more.
The programme is addressed to municipalities, urban-rural communes with up to 60 thousand residents and the amount of support will amount to 50% of the planned costs for implementing the task.
The municipality may benefit from co-financing if it provides care services on its own, outsources them to non-governmental organisations or buys them from private sector entities.
In 2022, funds from the Programme may be allocated for:
- co-financing of care services, including specialist care services for persons to whom the services in question have been provided under the Programme and will be continued in 2022;
- co-financing of care services or specialist care services for persons to whom these services were not provided in 2021 (new persons);
- co-financing for increasing the number of hours of care services, including specialist care services for persons aged 75 and more.
This year’s edition of the Care 75+ programme is implemented from 1 January to 31 December 2022.
