01.07.2024Consultation on the law on the profession of psychologist has been launchedOn the initiative of Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has prepared a draft law on the profession of psychologist. The aim of the regulation is to improve the quality of the services provided, ensure the safety of those receiving support and take care of the interests of male and female psychologists.

That's PLN 300 for a school starter pack for every student up to the age of 20. The application can be easily submitted online – the sooner you do this, the sooner the money will go to your account.

25.06.2024Salary supplements for nearly 200,000 social care, foster care and childcare workers aged under 3On June 19th, the Council of Ministers adopted programmes developed by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy to fund as of July the PLN 1,000 gross per month allowances for employees who help others, care for children, support the elderly and those in need every day with their hard work. The programme will cover approximately 200,000 male and female employees.

17.06.2024Minister Dziemianowicz-Bąk honoured with the “Patient-Centred Leader” award granted by the WE Patients FoundationThe WE Patients Foundation granted the “Patient-Centred Leader” award to Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk “for the implementation of measures to change maternity leave for parents of premature and sick newborns and her exemplary dialogue with social organisations”. The award was granted on 14 June during an official gala, the culmination of the 3rd Patient-Centred Conference held on Friday in Warsaw. The conference was attended by NGOs associating patients.

14.06.2024Director of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy appointed as the new Chief Labour Inspector. Congratulations!On 14 June, the Marshal of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, appointed attorney Marcin Stanecki as the Chief Labour Inspector. For the past three years, the attorney served as Director of the Labour Law Department at the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

11.06.2024Dziemianowicz-Bąk: Family and work - they go hand in hand! Applications for benefits under the “Active Parent” scheme may be submitted starting from 1 OctoberAt a press briefing today, the management of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy presented details of the introduction of the “Active Parent” scheme. Applications for the new benefits may be submitted to the Social Insurance Institution ZUS from 1 October 2024. At present, 577,000 children are eligible for the scheme.

07.06.2024Poland is a titular member of the Administrative Council of the International Labour Organisation!Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, together with the Director General of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, Liwiusz Laska, represented Poland at the 112th Session of the International Labour Conference. It is the annual meeting of the most important body of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), which is a specialised agenda of the United Nations Organisation as well as the world's most important organisation dealing with labour law and social affairs, which adopted more than 190 international conventions.

06.06.2024Unemployment rate on the decline! Record result in MayAt the end of May, the registered unemployment rate estimated by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy reached 5.0%, 0.1 percentage point lower than in April this year. The number of the unemployed amounted to 778,300, i.e. 18,800 less than at the end of April this year. Since 1990, there has never been a lower number of unemployed people recorded or a lower registered unemployment rate in May.
