The tasks of the Office shall include:
- coordinating the circulation of correspondence received by the Minister,
- coordinating the assessment of materials by the Collegium of the Ministry and servicing its meetings,
- managing matters related to the publication of the Minister's Official Gazette and the registers and electronic sets of internal normative acts issued by the Minister,
- coordinating the process of granting authorisations and powers of attorney issued by the Minister, Secretaries of State and Undersecretaries of State and maintaining a register of them,
- handling matters related to the award of state decorations, medals and honorary distinctions,
- coordinating the processing of interpellations, questions and interventions by senators and MPs, including monitoring the timeliness of their handling and maintaining a register of them,
- Coordinating the receipt and circulation of petitions received by the Ministry and maintaining a register of petitions,
- monitoring and coordinating the process of reviewing letters from citizens, complaints and applications received by the Ministry, including those submitted by Members of Parliament, Members of the European Parliament, Senators of the Republic of Poland or councillors, as well as drawing up periodic reports on the manner in which they are handled both in the Ministry and in the organisational units subordinate to the Minister or supervised by the Minister,
- coordinating matters related to the protection of personal data in the Ministry,
- coordinating the participation of the Minister's representatives in interministerial teams and commissions, committees, councils established by external entities, as well as coordinating the matters related to teams, councils, commissions, working groups established by the Minister, excluding those within the jurisdiction of the departments, including maintaining the lists of them,
- organising support for the Minister's representative in the work of the Joint Commission of Government and Local Government,
- coordinating the preparation of materials, information and compilations for the Minister and other members of the Ministry's management, excluding matters assigned to other departments,
- organising and handling media events with members of the Ministry's management,
- coordinating activities related to the presentation of the Minister's and the Ministry's policies; initiating and carrying out activities related to their promotion, as well as informing the mass media about activities related to the programmes implemented by the Ministry, including activities related to the RRP,
- creating information and promotion campaigns and drafting budget needed to implement them,
- maintaining and developing the Ministry's website, the Ministry's social media profiles and administering and managing the Ministry's website publishing the Public Information Bulletin,
- monitoring and analysing publications on topics related to the scope of the Ministry’s activity
- periodic monitoring of websites maintained by the departments of the Ministry.
