Macroeconomic indicators show that Poland has coped with the pandemic. Owing to billions of PLN invested in saving jobs, today the situation in the labour market is stable. We are going further, because there are new opportunities ahead of us. This is the best moment to give Poland an impulse for further, effective development – said the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg during Tuesday’s speech at the 590 Congress.
On Tuesday, under the banner „New Opportunities”, the sixth edition of the Congress 590 started in Warsaw. During the first day of the Congress, the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, delivered her speech.
There are many difficult months behind us, but we are going further. We must give an impulse for development so that Poles could live in an increasingly wealthy country and benefit from this wealth – said Minister Marlena Maląg.
Polish Order
The Minister reiterated that several weeks before the government had already adopted all draft acts to be implemented under the Polish Order. Some of the solutions, e.g. the one concerning health protection, are already in force, and the remaining provisions are currently being worked on by the Parliament. Last week, the Sejm passed, inter alia, the Act on Family Care Capital.
Family Care Capital is another PLN 500 for the second and subsequent child aged between 12 and 36 months, so that parents could combine professional work with family life. Our coherent, comprehensive policy is to make the lives of Poles better and better, to build Poland based on the strong family – explained Minister Maląg.
