Talks about the Polish Presidency of the EU Council at the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy

The Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk met on Thursday with Cesare Onestini, Director-General for Agriculture, Fisheries, Social Affairs and Health (LIFE) at the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU. The talks concerned the Polish Presidency of the Council in areas concerning the competences of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

Before the start of each presidency, the Director-General for Agriculture, Fisheries, Social Affairs and Health (LIFE) along with his team customarily meets with the ministers of the departments that thematically fall under the LIFE division.

On Thursday 24 October this year. Cesare Onestini visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, where he met with the head of the ministry, Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk.

During the meeting, the role of the Presidency and the Minister as Chair of the Councils was discussed, as well as the extent of support from the General Secretariat.
