The call for applications in the Senior+ programme for 2022 has been started

On Tuesday, 7 December, the call for applications in the open competition in the multi-annual Senior+ programme for 2022 was started. I invite local government units at the municipal, district and voivodeship levels to participate in the competition. In the new edition of the competition, PLN 60 million is available to be taken – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.
The Senior+ programme is addressed to local government units at the municipal, district and voivodeship levels whose strategies for the development of social welfare include the development of infrastructure for elderly people or where there is no other social welfare infrastructure of this type.
The funds to create Day Senior+ Homes and Senior+ Clubs and the co-financing for existing centres may be applied for in two modules.
Government support for the creation of Senior+ Homes and Senior+ Clubs
- Under Module 1, the funds are allocated for creating or renovating facilities owned by the local government unit or for equipping support centres.
- The co-financing under this module covers up to 80% of the total cost of performing the task, up to PLN 400 thousand for the Senior+ Home and PLN 200 thousand for the Senior+ Club.
Support for existing facilities
- Under Module 2, the funds will be allocated for the functioning of already existing support centres.
- The amount of co-financing allocated under this module for the current activities of support centres will be no more than PLN 400 per month for keeping one place in the Senior+ Home and no more than 200 PLN in the Senior+ Club.
- Support from Module 2 may amount to up to 50% of the total cost of performing the task.
Dates and rules for the submission of tenders
Tenders must be submitted by 11 January 2022.
Please remember that the submission of tenders under the Senior+ programme for 2022 takes place electronically as part of the Grant Service Generator, which is available at das.mrips.gov.pl. Tenders must be signed with trusted signature and sent via ePUAP.
Local government units may submit a joint tender. However, it must include information on the distribution of tasks within the tender submitted, together with a cost estimate, which are to be performed by the individual local government units, and on joint and several liability for performing the task.
The results of the competition will be published on the Ministry of Social Policy Family website by 18 March 2022.
For implementing the Multi-annual Senior+ Programme for 2022, the amount of PLN 60 million has been allocated.
