The topic of the first panel attended by Minister Marlena Maląg was "The family as a space for connecting potentials".

- We are at the stage of implementing regulations which will strengthen the protection of working parents and encourage employers to prepare solutions favourable to employees. They will also make it possible to increase fathers' involvement in caring for their children - said Marlena Maląg, Minister of Family and Social Policy.

In her speech Minister Marlena Maląg touched upon the demographic problems facing Poland.

- We see the family as an investment, therefore we, the government and entrepreneurs together, must create a broad coalition in favour of families. We need to create mechanisms that foster generational replacement and show that the family brings happiness - said the Minister of Family. 

The Minister also stressed the good situation on the Polish labour market.

- The situation on the labour market is stable. The historically low unemployment we are currently observing is a good prognosis for the further development of our economy - said Marlena Maląg.

Participating in the discussion with Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg were Judyta Kruk, spokeswoman for the Association of Large Families "Three Plus", Bartosz Marczuk, Vice-President of the Management Board of PFR S.A. and Prof. Michał A. Michalski, Phd. The panel was moderated by journalist Elżbieta Lechman.
