This year's European Vocational Skills Week is organized under the lead theme ‘Discover your talent’, while it focuses on vocational education and training in the context of the ‘green’ transformation.

At European level, best practices in vocational education training (VET) will be presented. The organized events will present the benefits vocational education and trainings bring to young people and adults.

The European Employers Days implement the policy of the European Public Employment Services to strengthen the cooperation between the employment offices and the employers. This cooperation is instrumental both in the development of the economy and the implementation of effective measures on the labour market.

In the framework of the European Employers Days 2022 in Poland, the voivodeship and poviat employment offices will conduct over 400 events on diverse subjects, including:

• the recruitment processes for the employers,
• the job fairs,
• the open days of the employment offices,
• the National Training Fund,
• the examination of competences and capabilities,
• the education of the youth according to labour market needs,
• the diagnosis of the qualifications required by employers,
• the services of the EURES network.

The intention of the employment offices is to establish direct contact with individual employers, by which the employers will obtain detailed information on the services of the employment offices, and will receive support tailored to their needs.

The situation of the Polish employment offices is now extraordinary because they have expanded their activities for the Ukrainian citizens, and they are now supporting them in finding employment in Poland; therefore the European Employers Days 2022 in Poland will include multiple events targeted at the Ukrainian job seekers.

The Ukrainian citizens will get an opportunity to become familiar with:

• the Polish labour market,
• job offers or traineeships,
• opportunities for improving or changing their professional qualifications - in terms of the employers’ needs,
• making use of the support of vocational advisers.

The employment offices have prepared for the employers a number of presentations on the rules on the employment of foreign nationals, in particular the Ukrainian citizens.
