To overcome homelessness. PLN 5.5 million in support of people at homelessness crisis

Counteracting homelessness, supporting entities in adapting special units for the homeless, inspiring and promoting innovative solutions in this respect – these are one of the main aims of the “Overcome Homelessness. Assistance Programme for the Homeless.” – 42 entities are going to receive co-financing under this year’s edition of the programme for the total amount of PLN 5.5 million. The “Overcome Homelessness. Assistance Programme for the Homeless” consists of 4 parts (modules):

  • Module I: Prophylaxis – Counteracting homelessness by carrying out prophylactic measures.
  • Module II: Support for people in homelessness crisis – Carrying out intervention and activation measures for the homeless.
  • Module III: Infrastructure – Support for the entities in adapting the managed units rendering services for the homeless.
  • Module IV: Innovation – Inspiring to implement new solutions with respect to providing care to the homeless.

– During this year’s edition of the “Overcome Homelessness. Assistance Programme for the Homeless” the Selection Board has recommended 42 entities for co-financing for the total amount of approximately PLN 5.5 million – Marlena Maląg, the Minister of Family and Social Policy informs.

Important message for the entities qualified for co-financing!

All organisations co-financed under this year’s edition of the programme should complete and file the documents listed below to the Department of Social Assistance and Integration of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy (1/3/5 Nowogrodzka St., 00-513 Warsaw):

  • a declaration stating that the Applicant accepts the granted co-financing,
  • a declaration stating that the Applicant did not obtain funding from other sources for the implementation of the project selected under the procedure (does not apply to the declared own contribution from other sources),
  • a declaration stating that the Applicant is going to ensure funds for the implementation of the project under its own contribution, as described in the offer,
  • 2 copies of completed agreement
  • 2 copies of updated budget and schedule.

Please note! The entities which placed their offer for the implementation of Modules I, II and IV must complete Agreement no I.

With the exception for entities submitting offers for the implementation of module II.3 (providing comprehensive support in the independence training flats or other forms of non-institutional care) which involve adaptation and renovation measures fill in Agreement no II.

The entities which filed an offer for the implementation of Module III fill in Agreement no II.

Any modifications of the contents of the agreement are not permitted (cutting out portions of the text, moving text around, changing the font, etc.). The introduction of any changes to the contents of the agreement will render it void!
