August at 100.We are investing PLN 100 billion in the development of Poland
02.08.2024
The holiday season is underway and we are not slowing down as we keep strengthening the Polish economy. In August, it will be possible to apply for more than PLN 100 billion from European funds and under the RRP. Projects in areas such as entrepreneurship, energy, ecology, science, education, social economy and social innovation will be eligible for funding. This will be to the benefit of, among others, entrepreneurs, research and educational institutions and non-governmental organisations.
We are investing European funds in two dimensions. The first is cohesion policy and structural funds and the other is the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. These funds translate into very specific investments. During the holidays we are investing funds acquired through the first request for payment under the RRP. After the holidays we will submit further applications,
said Deputy Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy Jan Szyszko.
Potential beneficiaries across Poland will be able to apply for funding for their projects in as many as 170 contests and calls for proposals.
Including:
- 30 under national programmes – for a total of PLN 7 billion;
- 90 under regional programmes – for a total of PLN 5.5 billion;
- 23 under the RRP – for a total of PLN 87 billion;
- 27 under the European Territorial Cooperation programmes – for a total of PLN 519.5 million;
