First meeting of the NRP Monitoring Committee: adoption of the regulations, evaluation of the NRP implementation

The topics discussed during the first meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the National Recovery Plan, which met at the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy included the adoption of the Regulations, progress in the implementation of investments under the NRP, as well as planned amendments to the NRP.
The meeting was attended by representatives of individual ministries, local governments, social partners, civil society organisations and academia.

During the meeting, information on the current status of the NRP implementation was presented. The participants of the meeting also adopted the regulations of the NRP Monitoring Committee and issued their opinion on the amendments submitted to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan as part of its revision.
The draft regulations were prepared in full cooperation with the Committee members. I believe that we have reached a compromise that will allow to focus the Committee's capacity and attention on substantive issues. We tried to formulate the provisions in such a way as to take into account as many comments as possible

During the NRP MC meeting, the participants also issued their opinion on the amendments submitted to the NRP as part of its revision and discussed the current state of the NRP implementation.
Tasks of NRP MC
The Monitoring Committee is the Polish initiative to involve representatives of local governments, social partners, civil society organisations and the academia in monitoring the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, as the Coordinating Institution of the NRP, is responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Ministers competent for the specific thematic areas are responsible for the implementation of individual reforms and investments.
The Committee's tasks include analysing situations that affect the implementation of the development plan. The Committee may issue recommendations to the institutions responsible for implementing the reforms. It also issues its opinions on proposed amendments to the NRP.
The Committee consists of 60 members, i.e. 30 members representing the governmental party and 30 members from non-government organisations.
