Monika Sikora
Undersecretary of State
Monika Sikora was appointed as the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy on 4 January 2024.
From 2019 to 2023, she was an advisor to the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg, where she served on the Budget Committee, the Employment and Social Affairs Committee and the Women's Rights and Gender Equality Committee. In 2022, she was awarded the title of best accredited assistant in the European Parliament.
From 2017 to 2018, she worked in the press department at the Polish Embassy in London. From 2013 to 2017, she worked in the consultancy company Landmark Public Affairs in Brussels.
From 2021 to 2023, she was a member of the board of the Institute of Democratic Thought Foundation.
She represented Poland in the 2022-2023 transatlantic Marshall Memorial Fellowship leadership development programme organised by the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
Graduate of the London School of Economics, the College of Europe in Bruges and the Foreign Policy Studies at the Polish Institute of International Affairs.
She speaks English, French and Spanish. She is originally from Katowice.
