Antoni Rytel becomes the Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Education and Science for Digital Transformation

July 13, 2023, Minister of Education and Science Przemyslaw Czarnek appointed Antoni Rytel, deputy director of the GovTech Poland Program, as the Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Education and Science for Digital Transformation.

The tasks of the Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Education and Science for Digital Transformation include:

  • Supporting the application of new technologies, innovations and digital tools in the entities of the education and higher education and science systems;
  • Initiating, coordinating and monitoring the creation and maintenance of digital tools to support the process of digitization of educational systems and higher education and science;
  • Implementing new teaching tools and programs to support education in the area of the future competencies and the development of creativity in society;
  • Participation in the development and opinion of program assumptions, strategic documents, and draft legal acts in the field of new technologies, innovations and digital tools, their use in educational systems and higher education and science, as well as implementation of strategies and solutions specified in these documents;
  • Participation in the implementation or monitoring of the implementation of projects in the GovTech area and cooperation with entities involved in the implementation of the GovTech Poland programme ;
  • Cooperation with entities operating in the area covered by the Plenipotentiary and representation of the Minister at events devoted to topics in this area.

The appointment was made pursuant to the Order of the Minister of Education and Science dated September 3, 2021 on the establishment of the Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Education and Science for Digital Transformation (Official Gazette of the Ministry of Education and Science, 2021, item 105).
