GovTech Poland

On March 3, 2020, GovTech Polska Program Director Justyna Orłowska was appointed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki as the Prime Minister's High Representative for GovTech. 

Justyna Orłowska, as the Representative, will be responsible for the coordination of inter-ministerial activities of the state in the field of innovation and new technologies. Justyna Orłowska will also be a member of the Committee of the Council of Ministers for Digitization and will represent the Prime Minister in these areas with domestic and foreign partners. 

The GovTech Center, which plays an executive and coordinating role, complementary to the Strategic Analysis Center, was also established in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, on the basis of the already existing GovTech Polska Department. 

Justyna Orłowska - Econometrician, financier, fund management expert. She gained experience in internationally recognized consulting companies, such as Capital One Advisers, Ipopema Securities, Enterprise Investors, or EY, where she carried out a number of projects related to analytics in the area of investment banking. In October 2016, she joined the team of advisers to the Minister of Development, where she was responsible for managing innovative digital projects - MinFinTech and Lektury.gov.pl. She also acted as the prime minister's advisor on innovation and finance. In April 2018, she was appointed director of the pioneering program GovTech Polska, whose task is to implement innovations and new technologies in the public sector. In March 2020, she was appointed the High Representative of the Prime Minister for GovTech.
