Bett Show London brings together 30,000 attendees and 2,500 exhibitors from every continent. During the conference, we presented educational innovations, and national stands to promote local and regional suppliers, shared experiences and inspiration in the international market, including recommendations for government and local government programmes.

Polish national stand at the Bett Show

On the initiative of Minister Justyna Orłowska - Plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister for Govtech and Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Education and Science for Digital Transformation, the first-ever Polish national stand at the Bett Show was created in cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Centre for the Development of Creative Industries, the GovTech Poland  and the EdTech Poland Foundation.

“It was a very intense and very interesting three days, during which we had the opportunity to showcase our home-grown companies and startups at the most significant event dedicated to education in this part of the world. Thousands of participants, including both representatives of the technology industry and essentially  all teachers and students, for whom these solutions were  created, had the chance to see, touch and test them.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to our first ever national stand! This event, once again shows in practice that #EducationIsCollaboration and that together we can achieve more!”

- says Justyna Orłowska.

“It was a historic moment for the Polish EdTech industry - for the first time, we could show up at Bett as a country. I got a lot of positive reviews from visitors from other countries about our stand, the scale of the Laboratories of the Future programme and the solutions of Polish manufacturers at both exhibitions. I count the Bett Show 2023 as a big success for Poland.”

- adds Mateusz Rafał, Director of the Digital Transformation Centre at the Ministry of Education and Science.

The Polish national stand consisted of several zones:

  • Space of 8 educational startups selected in a competition for the most innovative digital solutions (The Village Network, Creativity AR, Academy of Croquet and Lamy, Programming Giants, EMYS Inc., Well of Art, DOJI S.A., Knoocker),
  • Future Labs zone, informing about the PLN 1.2 billion investment in modern equipment in schools,
  • meeting room, which was used by all Polish representatives present at the conference,
  • MakerSpace, where Polish educational innovations were presented practically and workshop-likely.

On the second day of the Fair, during a panel organised by Intel, Justyna Orłowska spoke about innovative teaching models together with Polish EdTech organisations.

“Together with teachers, EdTech specialists and big tech companies, we discussed the future of approaches to education. This is a valuable exchange of experience in the transformation of education from different points of view”

- says Justyna Orłowska.

On the last day of the Fair, Minister Justyna Orłowska met with the Polish Ambassador in the UK, Piotr Wilczek. During the meeting at the Polish Embassy in London, the Minister talked about digital transformation in Polish schools, including the Future Laboratories programme, the League of Robots tournament and other projects co-created under the initiative of MEiNTech.

The Polish national stand was extremely popular both for  the youngest children fascinated by innovative ways of learning through technology, and for adults looking for new forms of teaching from the EdTech sector.
