The map will be live from 15.00 to 21.00 on Saturday 26 September 2020 and everyone will be invited to solve riddles, the answers of which will be ‘hidden’ on the websites of the EINIC members participating in this year’s celebration.

Everyone who manage to solve the riddles will be entered in a lottery with a range of prizes offered by EUNIC members in Greece. The draw will take place immediately after the end of the hunt and the winners will be announced on the digital treasure hunt website, as well as on EUNIC members’ websites.

The European Day of Languages was established in 2001 to support and promote Europe’s rich linguistic diversity and the development of language skills so as to enable its citizens to play their full part in democratic citizenship in Europe and preserve Europe’s multicultural identity.

In Greece for the 2020 celebration, for the 8th consecutive year are participating educational and cultural Institutions and Embassies of European countries – members of EUNIC Athens in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Commission in Greece.
