An appeal by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland regarding the epidemiological threat

Ambassador Gerard Pokruszyński appeals to all medially trained Poles living in Iceland (doctors, nurses, pharmacists and paramedics) to offer their help in the healthcare sector.

Due to the epidemiological threat caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, Iceland's clinics, hospitals and nursing homes will need additional support. The Ministry of Social Affairs of Iceland, in cooperation with local communities, has therefore created a list to which persons with a medical education can sign up to perform temporary work in the case of additional demands the healthcare sector.

I appeal to all Poles living in Iceland who have medical training (doctors, nurses, pharmacists and paramedics) but do not currently work in their profession, to offer their help in the healthcare sector. The application form can be found on the website below. At the same time, I encourage you to apply for permanent jobs in accordance with your medical education.
