Prof. Dariusz Zuba
Dariusz Zuba – Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor at IES. Author of numerous publications in the field of forensic toxicology, especially on new psychoactive substances (so-called ‘legal highs’). He actively participates in many activities of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI), of which he was a member of the Board in 2016–2019. He is a member of the European Commission's expert group on judicial training and an advisor to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) project in this area. He is a lecturer at the Jagiellonian University and the National School of Judges and Prosecutors and has also been involved in training judicial staff from other countries, including within CEPOL and TAIEX. He was also a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Laboratory Advisory Group in 2019–2021.

Prof. Wojciech Branicki
Wojciech Branicki – Professor of Biological Sciences and exeprt in forensic genetics. Author of numerous publications on human identification and the use of genetic methods in forensic science. Co-developer of methods for predicting human appearance and age through DNA analysis. One of the founders of the Polish Working Group of the International Society of Forensic Genetics (ISFG) and its Chairman in 2017–2021. Lecturer at the Jagiellonian University and the National School of Justice and Prosecution, supervisor of doctoral theses in the field of forensic genetics. Organiser of international training courses on the use of DNA analysis for investigative purposes. In the past, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Małopolska Biotechnology Centre at the Jagiellonian University.
