10.12.2020“Raczyński’s note”On 10 December 1942, the Polish Government-in-Exile called on the states-signatories to the United Nations Declaration to prevent the crimes committed against the Jewish population in German-occupied Poland. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents the photo of the original note, stored in the UK National Archives, as well as the contents of the brochure “The Mass Extermination of Jews in German Occupied Poland.”

11.11.2020National Independence DayOn 11 November 1918, 102 years ago, Poland regained its independence. On this day, after his release from the Magdeburg Fortress, Józef Piłsudski took over military command from the Regency Council and, three days later, assumed supreme authority over civilian matters, to finally “as Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Army [...] notify belligerent and neutral governments and nations” of the reappearance of “the reborn and independent Republic of Poland” on the map. After 123 years of captivity, Poland became a sovereign and internationally recognised state.

04.11.2020Farewell for STEP-IN Civic Association in the Dawoodia IDPs CampConsul Dominik Musiał & Vice-Consul Stanisław Guliński took part in a farewell ceremony for STEP-IN Civic Association in the Dawoodia IDPs' Camp in Dohuk Governorate. STEP-IN is a Slovak asscoiation that received - since 2015 - financial support from Polish Aid, while cooperating with Polish organizations, for example recently with the Club of Catholic Intelligentsia (KIK)/ Warsaw. The ceremony was attended by the camp manager Clara Eliea Gorial and the KIK representative Marta Titaniec.
