Warsaw Polish candidate for the location of the seat of the European Cybersecurity Industrial Technology and Research Competence Centre

On November 6 Poland has delivered the formal offer to be the hosting country for the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre.
Poland has both the human capital and conditions to host such an institution and also well-organized and well-functioning cyber community and blooming ICT sector (over 250 000 people employed). Our close relations and our bilateral ICT business and scientific cooperation would benefit both countries.
We are very active in the EU in cybersecurity, and one of the leaders in implementing regulations concerning the cyber security, 5G security and standardization of ICT solutions.
Poland has a long experience of effective implementation of the EU funds. It has created an environment where private sector, local and central administrations and other shareholders developed well-functioning system of distributing and using EU funds for bigger and smaller projects. Therefore, we guarantee excellent connectivity, security and interoperability with IT facilities in handling EU funding – of course open for all applicants from all Member states.
Warsaw offers top-class technical, scientific, academic and socio-economic facilities. It has a very good access to all EU Member states, by traditional airlines and low cost carriers. Warsaw provides very good living conditions and accommodation options, high level of security, international educational facilities, international job opportunities, good medical care facilities and well-functioning expats community.
