The Saxon delegation included Deputy State Secretary Mathias Weilandt, Saxon Attorney General Martin Uebele, Vice President of the Higher Regional Court in Dresden Cornelia Schoenefelder, President of the Saxon Higher Administrative Court Susanne Dahlke-Piel, and President of the Saxon State Social Court Claudia Kucklick. The Polish side was represented by Prof. Piotr Girdwoyń, Director of the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution.

The guests were primarily interested in the actions taken by the Polish government, especially the Ministry of Justice, to restore full democratic principles. The discussions focused on the Ministry's efforts to restore the rule of law and public trust in justice institutions.

"We are accounting for the past and making necessary changes to ensure that public life in Poland is characterized by openness, honesty, and transparency. We are also looking to the future of the justice system, which is based on good education for judges and prosecutors. Therefore, we are keen on strengthening international cooperation in this area," emphasized Minister Adam Bodnar.

Minister Katja Meier acknowledged that exchanging experiences and cooperation in training personnel will be crucial in the future.

"The problems of democracy are universal. Therefore, it will be valuable to exchange views on how to make the legal system of our countries resistant to attempts at destruction and abuse," said Minister Meier.

The agreement – signed by Piotr Girdwoyń from the Polish side and Matthias Weilandt from the Saxon side – includes increasing the efficiency of judicial training and the exchange of experiences in the education of future judges and prosecutors. It also provides for jointly organizing and conducting training in strategic areas related to the justice system and organizing conferences and seminars.
