Following the Act on radio and television broadcasting, the Council submits, until the end of March, an annual report on its activities for the preceding year and information on the basic problems of the radio and television broadcasting – to the Sejm, the Senate and the President of the Republic of Poland.
Irrespective of this duty, the Council submits annual information on its activities and the basic radio and television broadcasting problems to the Prime Minister.
The Sejm and the Senate accept or reject the above annual report by way of resolutions. A report-accepting resolution may contain comments and reservations.
If the annual report is rejected by the Sejm and the Senate, the term of all Council members expires within 14 days as of the date of the last resolution. However, the Council’s term shall not expire if the expiry is not acknowledged by the President of the Republic of Poland.
