06.07.2022The TV set is still the most popular device for watching multimediaData from the National Media Institute (NMI), derived from the Founding Survey, shows that as many as 92% of surveyed Poles use a TV, including 48.1% with the smart TV option. The telephone is used by 90% of people, out of whom 75.2% use a smartphone. The radio is used by 80% of people. The survey was conducted among people aged 4 and over.

27.06.2022Increase in readiness for DVB-T2/HEVC switchoverAccording to the National Media Institute (NMI), the level of preparedness for the new terrestrial TV reception standard among NTC-only households was 67% in May, an increase of 6 pp compared to the March-April period this year. The number of households at risk of signal loss fell to 1.32 million in May, compared to 1.53 million at the end of April 2022.
