On 7 November, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuwait celebrated 101. anniversary of Poland regaining independence.

National Independence Day at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland

The Embassy invited Polonia and Poles living in Kuwait to celebrate together on this special day. Ambassador Paweł Lechowicz addressed the guests with a speech and wishes on the occassion of the National Independence Day.

A concert by trio Kinga Masternak (piano), Anna Karadimitrova (soprano), Preslav Petkov (clarinet) contained most famous pieces composed by Stanisław Moniuszko. Alongside, the Embassy presented an exhibition prepared on the occasion of 200. anniversary of the famous composer’s birthday which in Poland was commemorated with 2019 having been announced as the Year of Moniuszko.
