The Summer Business Party
10.06.2022
On the 9th of June this year, the Summer Business Party, i.e. an event organised cyclically to further strengthen the bilateral economic relations, took place at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Luxembourg.
The meeting traditionally serves to promote one of the Polish regions. This year it was held in the context of an economic mission 'Going Global - Lower Silesia Economic Diplomacy' - organised by the authorities and entrepreneurs from the Lower Silesian Voivodship in cooperation with the Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce (LPCC) and with support of the European Regional Development Fund, as well as the Polish-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. On the second day of their visit to the Grand Duchy, representatives of a number of companies active mainly in the high-tech sector had an opportunity to participate in a 'B2B' session at the headquarters of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
This year's edition of the Summer Business Party was particularly festive, given the celebration of the 10th LPCC’s anniversary and the decoration of its president, Artur Sosna, with the Silver Cross of Merit. It is worth noting, that a year ago the LPCC was accredited by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce as the first organisation of this kind in Luxembourg.
The realisation of the event was made possible mainly thanks to the unwavering commitment of partner institutions and the generosity of sponsors, ProService and Moventum. That was the third meeting of this type, after a year's hiatus caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
