A Május 3-i Alkotmány ünnepe

Ma van az egyik fő nemzeti ünnepünk: a Május 3-i Alkotmány ünnepe. Ebből az alkalomból a budapesti Lengyel Nagykövetség és a Lengyel Intézet vezetői magyarul szavalják a lengyel himnuszt, hogy a magyar barátaink is velünk ünnepelhessenek.

A Lengyel Köztársaság szejmje (későbbi nevén nagy szejm) által 1791. május 3-án, Varsóban elfogadott alkotmány volt az első modern alkotmány Európában, a világon pedig a második.
