Information on the rules for applying for a visa as part of the government program "POLAND BUSINESS HARBOR"

As of July 13, 2021, the "POLAND BUSINESS HARBOR" program covers the following countries: Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.

The rules of participation in the program are described at https://www.gov.pl/web/poland-businessharbour . A special helpline has also been launched for those interested in the program. The program is dedicated to 3 groups of representatives of the IT industry:

1. IT specialist;

2. Startup;

3. Small / medium / large enterprise

 

Rules for applying for visas for individual groups of the IT industry

1. IT specialist:

As part of the simplification of the visa procedure for this category of foreigners who apply individually for a visa with the designation "PBH", the foreigner presents:

1. completed and signed application for a national visa with a photo;

2. invitation from one of the partner companies (list on the website https://www.gov.pl/web/poland-businessharbour ), which showed interest in employing a foreigner, and one of the two documents (to choose from):

a) a document confirming technical education (ICT) or

b) a document confirming min. one year of experience in the ICT industry

2a. (version for Belarus) invitation from one of the partner companies (list on the website https://www.gov.pl/web/poland-businessharbour ) that has shown interest in employing a foreigner or a document confirming technical education (ICT) or a document confirming min. one year of experience in the ICT industry

3. a valid passport that has been issued within the last 10 years and has at least two empty pages, and its validity period expires no earlier than 3 months after the expiry of the visa;

4. travel medical insurance valid for the period of validity of the visa (unless a foreigner will have insurance in Poland entitling him to medical benefits financed from public funds).

In the case of applying for a visa together with the family (spouse, dependent children), for minors the following should be provided:

1. an application for a national visa signed by the parents (legal guardians of the child) or one of the parents, if only this parent is entitled to parental responsibility. If only one of the child's parents / legal guardians applies for a visa with the reference to PBH, the other parent's written consent to submit the visa application must be presented, notarized. If there is only one legal guardian, this must be documented by presenting a birth certificate, a court order granting sole parental authority or a death certificate of the other parent;

2. parents' passports - the original (for inspection) and a copy,

3. child's birth certificate - the original (available for inspection) and a copy.

 

2. Startup:

As part of the simplification of the visa procedure for this category of foreigners who apply for a visa with the designation "PBH" with the recommendation of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the foreigner presents:

1. completed and signed application for a national visa with a photo;

2. information about qualifying for the Poland Prize program;

3. a valid passport that has been issued within the last 10 years and has at least two empty pages, and its validity period expires no earlier than 3 months after the expiry of the visa;

4. travel medical insurance valid for the period of validity of the visa (unless a foreigner will have insurance in Poland entitling him to medical benefits financed from public funds).

In the case of applying for a visa together with the family (spouse, dependent children), for minors the following should be provided:

3.small / medium / large enterprise (SME)

As part of the simplification of the visa procedure for this category of foreigners who apply for a visa with the designation "PBH" with the recommendation of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the foreigner presents:

1. completed and signed application for a national visa with a photo;

2. information about qualifying for the program by PAIH;

3. a valid passport that has been issued within the last 10 years and has at least two vacancies

4. travel medical insurance valid for the period of validity of the visa (unless a foreigner will have insurance in Poland entitling him to medical benefits financed from public funds).
