Poland in Malaysia

A celebration on the occasion of the National Independence Day of Poland was held on 15 November at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The guest of honour, representing the Malaysian government, was Deputy Minister of Defense Tuan Adly bin Zahari. The reception was attended by representatives of the Malaysian administration, Sultan families, diplomatic corps, business, media and Poles living in Malaysia. During the reception, Polish companies operating in Malaysia could present their offers, whereas the guests had a unique opportunity to listen to the anthems of Poland and Malaysia performed by violinist Kaja Karolina Giżewska and cellist Aamil Sulaiman, as well as try authentic Polish dishes prepared by Polish chefs Marcin Budynek and Mariusz Olechno.
