Christmas meeting with representatives of the Polish community

On 14 th of December a Christmas meeting for Polish citizens living in Malta was held in Bugibba.
During the meeting, Ambassador Tomasz Czyszek extended Christmas and New Year's wishes to the gathered guests, summed up this year's cooperation with the Polish community in Malta and thanked those who were particularly involved in helping with the projects organized by the polish Embassy.
Ambassador had the pleasure to present a Bene Merito honorary medal to Mr Hector Spiteri, former Honorary Consul of Poland in Malta, which has been conferred to him by Foreign Minister. Tomasz Czyszek thanked Mr Spiteri for all he has done for Poland and for the Polish community in Malta.
Guests participating in the Christmas event could listen to a short concert of Polish Christmas carols performed by Agnieszka and Mateusz Kuźma who play in the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. Polish Christmas dishes were served during the event as well. The Embassy also provided attractions for children who came to the meeting. They had the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, who gave them gifts.
The meeting was attended by about 140 participants.
