In the garden of Krzysztof Penderecki
21.05.2020
The Adam Mickiewicz Institute is building in a virtual space an interactive garden inspired by the work of Krzysztof Penderecki. "Penderecki’s Garden" will flourish in November, but users can already follow how the project grows.
Penderecki's Garden is a digital project, not only dedicated to the memory of the composer, but also introducing his character and showing his impact on contemporary world music and other fields of art. The theme of the project is one of Krzysztof Penderecki's greatest passions – the garden.
In the virtual space, the recipient will have the opportunity to listen to the works of the Master, get acquainted with his artistic and personal biography. However, this will not only be a knowledge base, but also an artistic space presenting the works of other artists, which were inspired by the work of Krzysztof Penderecki.
Penderecki's garden is addressed at an international audience – all content will be presented in English. The premiere is scheduled for November 23, the anniversary of the Master's birth. Already now at www.PendereckisGarden.pl you can follow how the project is developing.
Awaiting its completion, you can also play the sound memory game prepared by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, in which instead of pictures, the player needs to pair fragments of Krzysztof Penderecki's works. The game is available at www.MemoryPenderecki.pl.
The project is part of the international cultural programme coordinated by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, implemented under the Multiannual Programme NIEPODLEGŁA for the years 2017–2022.
