'Let us Love one Another! - Wojciech Kilar's film music concert

On 6th of December a concert of film music by Wojciech Kilar took place. The concert entitled 'Let us love one another!' was held on the occasion of the composer's 90th birthday celebrating this year. The event took place in the St. James Cavalier in Valletta - the seat of the Spazju Kreattiv - prestigious cultural center.
The concert was performed by Julia Miller - pianist and Emilia Wiśniewska - violinist, Polish artists living in Malta, who played pieces from films to which Wojciech Kilar wrote the music such as "Dracula", "The Shadow Line". "The Portrait of a Lady", "The Promised Land" and many others. Dr. Monika Masłowska from the Faculty of Media Studies of the University of Malta presented the work of Wojciech Kilar and brought closer the issues of films with the soundtrack written by the Polish composer. An illustration for the statements and musical pieces was a multimedia presentation prepared especially for this occasion, concerning the directors with whom W. Kilar collaborated and their films.
