'Light of Freedom' in Malta

13th December Polish Ambassador to Malta lit a candle in tribute to victims of Martial Law which was imposed 40 years ago in Poland.

"Światło Wolności”

This refers to the gesture of placing candles in the windows, through which, in the early eighties, not only Poles, but also people of the free world, expressed opposition to the brutal policy of the authorities of the Polish People’s Republic and solidarity with all victims.
