Visit of the Ambassador and Consul of the Republic of Poland to the memorial sites of deceased Poles in Malta

On 1st of November, on All Saints' Day, the Ambassador and the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Malta visited the Naval Cemetery in Kalkara, where they lit candles and paid tribute to Polish airmen and sailors who died in defense of Malta during World War II.

The Ambassador also visited Independence Gardens in Sliema, where on 2nd of Jannuary Paulina Dembska was brutally murdered. He lit a candle at the site of her tragic death. Candles and flowers are still laid at the scene of the murder.
