22. Meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group

On May 20th, the 22. meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group was held remotely, chaired by the US Defence Secretarly Lloyd Austin. Over 50 delegations from partner countries, as well as NATO and EU representatives, took part in the meeting.
The Polish delegation was led by Ministry of National Defence secretary of state Cezary Tomczyk, who presented the progres made by Poland in the training, logistics and materiel support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG, also known as the Ramstein group) is an alliance of over 50 states and organizations, supporting the defence of Ukraine by sending and maintaining military equipment as well as training personnel in response to the Russian invasion of 2022. The Group coordinates the ongoing sending of military assistance during its monthly meetings. The first meeting was held on the 26th of April 2022. Poland is one of the most active countries, both in terms of assistance to Ukrainian citizens, and sending military equipment to Ukraine.
