Meeting with the South Korean delegation

On 17th October 2024 at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda hosted a delegation from the Republic of Korea led by Defense Procurement Agency (DAPA) Deputy Minister Hyunki Cho. The delegation was also accompanied by Ambassador of South Korea Hoonmin Lim and President/CEO of Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) Gooyoung Kang.

On 17th October 2024 at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda hosted a delegation from the Republic of Korea led by Defense Procurement Agency (DAPA) Deputy Minister Hyunki Cho.

The development of bilateral cooperation in the defence area was a central theme of the meeting. Issues related to industrial cooperation and polonisation were also presented for discussion.

Korean representatives emphasised the Polish potential of FA-50 service centre for Europe establishment based on the plants of WZL-2 (Military Aviation Works 2).

The discussion also focused on the possibility to extend technological and industrial cooperation, including technology transfer and common research and development projects. Both parties expressed their satisfaction over the current cooperation and willingness to extend further development of partnership, which is vital to strengthen security of both Poland and South Korea.
