Poland and Pakistan together for security

Bilateral cooperation and security policy were the main topics discussed by the Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak and Pakistani Minister of National Defense Khurran D. Khan.

On Wednesday, at the invitation of the Polish Minister of National Defense, a delegation of the Pakistani Defense Ministry paid a visit to Poland. Ministers talked about bilateral cooperation and security in Afghanistan. Mariusz Błaszczak stressed that Poland will increase its contingent in Afghanistan.

During the meeting, ministers signed a framework agreement on mutual cooperation in the field of defense.

The Pakistani army comprises of  land forces, navy and air forces, in which serves over 650,000 soldiers.

Representatives of the Pakistani government participated in the largest defense fairs in Poland - the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce. The delegation headed by the Pakistani Chief of Staff and the commander of the Pakistani Air Force met with the academic staff and students at the War Studies University in 2017.
