Poland and the United States have reached an agreement on a direct loan for the Foreign Military Financing programme, for the amount of 3,08 bln USD

This is the third loan given to Poland by the US government. The previous agreement was signed on July 1st of this year. The total amount of all US direct loans to Poland is 7,08 bln USD. We are the largest beneficiary of this mechanism in recent years.

Foreign Military Financing loans are offered to close partners of the United States. Cooperation in support of Ukraine is also an important aspect in reaching these agreements.

The funds acquired will be assigned to the procurement of the AH-64 Apache helicopters. The appropriate contract was signed on August 13th of this year. Therefore these funds contribute to the speeding up and deepening of the transformation of the Polish Armed Forces, while also tightening the defense relations between Poland and the United States.
