77th anniversary of the liberation of Roeselare

Representatives of the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Poland to NATO took part in the commemoration of the 77th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Roeselare by the 1st Armored Division of General Stanisław Maczek.
The commemorations were prepared by the authorities of the city of Roeselare. On behalf of the Polish Permanent Delegation to NATO, Col. Marek Przymanowski and Col. Piotr Suchan laid a wreath at the memorial honouring the Polish soldiers who lost their lives liberating Roeselare in September 1944. The event was also attended by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Kingdom of Belgium, local authorities and the Polish community.
