Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs

The ministers took part in three sessions: Allies-only, NATO-Ukraine Council format and in a session with the King of Jordan. The new EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas was invited to the NATO-Ukraine Council meeting.

NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting

The ministers discussed further military support for Ukraine, the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian front and preparations for the NATO Summit in The Hague. The ministers also talked about Russian hybrid actions targeting Allies.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Radosław Sikorski held bilateral consultations with the Czech Republic and Spain. He also took part in a working breakfast with his counterparts from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden. The talks focused on support for Ukraine and the security situation in the Baltic Sea region.

Minister Radosław Sikorski emphasized Poland's unabated readiness to support Ukraine in the military, economic and political dimensions for as long as it is needed. The minister also mentioned the key role of the transatlantic bond for European security.

The Head of Polish diplomacy outlined Poland's priorities with regard to the summit in The Hague: strengthening deterrence and defense, including anti-missile defense, supporting Ukraine, developing a new approach to Russia, adoption of a new strategy for countering hybrid threats.
