08.12.2022
Report "Country's systemic resilience in the digital era" was presented on December 8th at NATO Headquarters by representatives of the Kosciuszko Institute, the European Cybersecurity Forum and the Government Center for Security.
In the report, the authors analyzed examples of digital technology applications within NATO's seven core resilience requirements. During the discussion at NATO Headquarters, the participants discussed Poland's experience and achievements in strengthening resilience, including in the field of cyber security, especially in the context of Russian aggression against Ukraine, the increasing role of China and other challenges facing NATO and member states. Possibilities of further support for Ukraine in the fight against Russia were also discussed. In addition, specific initiatives that Poland has successfully introduced on the NATO forum (including the issue of resilience of societies) were presented, showing our leading role in shaping the issue of resilience in the transatlantic dimension. Building and strengthening the resilience of states is the implementation of the decisions of the NATO Summit in Madrid and the provisions of the NATO Strategic Concept.
The seminar was attended by speakers from Poland: Mrs. Izabela Albrycht, Chair of the CYBERSEC Program Council, Mr. Sławomir Łazarek from the Government Center for Security and Mr. Krzysztof Malesa from Microsoft Poland, as well as representatives of NATO member states sitting on the Resilience Committee and representatives of the NATO International Secretariat.
