Visit of NATO Investment Committee in Poland

On 20-24 May 2024 the representatives of NATO Investment Committee visited Poland. The group learned about the progress in implementation of the NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP).
The Committee met with representatives of the leadership of the Polish MOD and the General Staff. The representatives could also see the infrastructure constructed within the NSIP framework in 23rd Tactical Air Base in Mińsk Mazowiecki, Military Field Training Center in Orzysz and other investments for 18th Mechanized Infantry Division in Siedlce. The group visited also the Polish Armed Forces Museum and Katyń Museum.
The visit was a great opportunity to discuss Polish experience as a host nation in practical implementation of investments in the framework of NATO common funding as well as recommendations for rationalization of the current procedures.
