November 11 - anniversary of Poland regaining independence in 1918
On November 11, each year, we celebrate the National Independence Day in Poland to celebrate the anniversary of Poland regaining sovereignty in 1918. After 123 years of captivity and the partitions of Poland between three neighboring powers, Poland was reborn as a sovereign and democratic European state.
This year in Ramallah we celebrated our national holiday a few days earlier together with our Czech Lithuanian and Hungarian friends. Following the pandemic restrictions, we met in Ramallah to honor our national holidays in Palestine.
