Poland donates vaccines to the Philippines

As a gesture of solidarity 547,100 doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines have officially been transferred to the Philippines on 28th November 2021 at the Manila International Airport.
The event was attended by National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 chief implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. as well as chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Jarosław Szczepankiewicz.
During press conference held at NAIA Airport Mr. Jarosław Szczepankiewicz explained that donation of almost 550 000 doses of vaccines is clear sign of frienship and solidarity with the Philippines. He strongly encouraged Filipinos to take part in 3 day national vaccination drive.
