The Polish community in Qatar celebrates the National Independence Day with a sporting event

The 5th Independence Run co-organized by the Witold Pilecki Polish School in Qatar and the Polish Embassy in Doha was held in the Lusail Multipurpose Hall on 11th November. The run, organized annually since 2018, has enjoyed a growing interest of the Polish community and supporters of our country from all over the world. During the run, contenders of all ages had to cover a distance of one kilometre. All the participants received diplomas and medals at the finish line. At the end, the students of the Polish School in Qatar symbolically sent their own wishes for Poland into the sky.
