On June 12th, there was a ceremony of laying wreaths at the renovated monument of Polish legionnaires in Cârlibaba.

Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Romania Maciej Lang, President of Suceava County Council George Flutur, Prefect of the Suceava County Iulian Cimpoescu and soldiers of the Polish Military Contingent stationed in Craiova and of the Romanian 17th Mountain Troops Battalion from Vatra Dornei participated in this ceremony.

After the national anthems were played, wreaths were solemnly laid on the grave of the legionnaires, the appeal of the fallen was read and a volley of honor was fired.

The renovation of the tombstone monument in Cârlibaba was carried out in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bucharest and Polish Military Contingent stationed in Craiova.
