On September 9, 2021, Ambassador Maciej Lang visited Iaşi where he participated in the inauguration of new tram fleet produced by PESA. During his visit, the Ambassador held meetings with Mayor of Iaşi Mihai Chirica, Rector of “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iaşi Dan Cașcaval and President of Iaşi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Paul Butnariu.

The city of Iasi pruchased 16 trams from PESA with a total value of approximately 33.1 million euro.
