A new phonographic production in tribute to Krzysztof Penderecki

For the 87th anniversary of the composer’s birthday, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute is releasing a vinyl record dedicated to Krzysztof Penderecki.
It features unique material – the soundtrack to the film Malarze gdańscy (Painters of Gdańsk) which Penderecki composed in 1964, as well as pieces by contemporary Polish composers – Paweł Romańczuk, Robert Piotrowicz and the Skalpel duo, for whom the Maestro’s music has been a special kind of creative inspiration.
