Poland in Saudi Arabia

On November 6th, at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Riyadh, a solo violin recital by Polish artist Voytek Proniewicz was performed. The concert of the Polish violinist, awarded at international competitions in Lublin, Łódź and Hradec nad Moravici, honored the celebration of the 101st anniversary of regaining independence. The artist has presented his own violin interpretations of famous composers’ works: Fryderyk Chopin, Karol Lipiński, Nicolo Paganini, Jan Sebastian Bach, Krzysztof Penderecki and others. The concert was followed by a ceremonial reception, to which representatives of the diplomatic corps, representatives of countries of accreditation and the Polish Diaspora in Saudi Arabia were invited.
