Poland in Saudi Arabia

On 18-21 October 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Szejna visited Oman together with a delegation comprising the Polish Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Robert Rostek, and the Head of the Gulf Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aleksander Iwanicki, where he was received by the Omani Foreign Minister H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi. Minister Szejna participated in the fourth edition of the Polish-Omani political consultations on 21 October, the Omani side was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalifa Al-Harthy.

On the occasion of this visit, the Minister took part as guest of honour in a special concert to mark the Polish National Independence Day in Muscat, organised by the Embassy, with the participation of the Polish Honorary Consul in Oman Ahmed bin Rashad Al Hinai, the Polish community, the diplomatic corps and Omani authorities. Secretary of State Andrzej Szejna also visited the headquarters of the government agency Oman Investment, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Muscat, and the first Polish confectionery in Oman - Amon.
